| I hit 40 today on DFO! It's pretty much everything I expected it to be and it's great. I don't have to worry about spending fatigue/tokens or really think about gaining experience at all. I can just stay in the trade channel the entire time unless someone needs me.

I was toying around with my new skill, Shadow Clone. Unfortunately, the clone doesn't unleash a hurricane of its own. And it seems like the best way to make the most out of it is actually to play it like a Genei-Jin. You do a bunch of normals and tack a finisher at the end for big damage.

So I did the Dendroid daily quest today due to the double experience event (great deal of alliteration in that sentence). And when I got to the First Spine boss, I discovered something that probably would helped me a lot more if I knew at a lower level. When he does his crazy spin attack, you can stop him clean with the holy counterattack.

It's true what someone posted about using Dee Jay's s. fierce as a "fake max-out". Works good at a distance where you can still throw a real max-out as an anti-air. And if you're in close quarter, it'll stop some jumps really early.

I was reading a friend's blog today and he spoke of how his fixation on past shame was no different than an attachment to any other emotion, even a more comfortable one.
I thought this was especially great since it's sort of what Merlin touched on in saying there's great love in detachment.
